If you are not covered by an insurance provider listed above, I offer a superbill as a method for clients’ families to be reimbursed by their insurance provider after paying me directly for services. SUPERBILL Reimbursement through Superbill This method of payment occurs when the clinician (Mackenzie) provides the family with an invoice called a Superbill. The family pays Mackenzie the rate listed below at the time of service, and then they submit the superbill to their insurance company for reimbursement. This reimbursement takes between 2-3 weeks to process. It is up to the family to contact their insurance provider to see what is covered within their plan. Each carrier is different and coverage can vary, so it is up to the family to know these details before proceeding.
